JYS Inc., the company behind dance studio URIZIP, which has produced numerous K-pop dancers, opened a new entertainment restaurant and bar, Honmani Chicken, on the B2 floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO.
Working in collaboration with a team of creative specialists, Equal.studio developed the lighting design and supported the interior design to bring out the full potential of the space. Conceived as a new hub for K-pop culture in Japan, the interior was inspired by diners seen in K-pop music videos, creating an environment where vibrant dance performances, live events, and dining come together as a new kind of entertainment experience. A wide range of colored lighting was used to create distinct atmospheres for lunch, dinner, and bar hours. RGB lights were also carefully positioned to cast vivid three-colored shadows across the tables, immersing guests in a visual world that feels as though they have stepped directly into a K-pop scene.
