Ambientec

(Info)

Ambientec, a brand specializing in high-quality portable lighting, opened its first directly operated gallery in Yokohama. Working in collaboration with a team of creative specialists, Equal.studio designed the lighting environment to bring out the distinct qualities of each product and create a space where visitors could discover the piece that feels right for them.
Ambientec’s products combine distinctive forms with carefully crafted, high-quality light, revealing different qualities when switched on and off. To preserve the true appearance of each material, we selected LED fixtures with light characteristics close to natural daylight, enhancing color rendering and allowing the textures and finishes of the products to stand out.
By shifting between different lighting scenes, visitors can also experience the subtle differences in the light created by each product. The gallery was designed to help people imagine what it would feel like to live with Ambientec’s lighting throughout the course of a day.
